A tale of two seasons: harvest, a blur of frenzied near non-stop team activity in late summer sun. And winter, a meticulous and somewhat solitary time of vineyard care amidst the blanket of snow that covers Washington vineyards.
Resident photographer Richard Duval matched two scenes – harvest and winter prep – from Lake Chelan’s Hard Row to Hoe with the hard-working Don Phelps who maintains the vineyards for winemaker Judy Phelps.
Pictures? I wait a whole month and all I get is two pictures?
