Pic of the Vine - July 2013

Tuesday, July 9, 2013

This month’s Pic of the Vine comes from Westport Winery.

“I’m constantly and happily surprised at where I find our wineries,” said contributing photographer Richard Duval. “Westport Winery, though new to me, is hardly an undiscovered gem, having garnered dozens awards. Located on the highway between Aberdeen and Westport, the winery boasts over 30 wines, including a slew of surprisingly delightful (and one very potent) fruit wines. Of course what grabs my photographer’s eye are the superb grounds. Gardens, glass sculptures, bocce ball and a great vineyard of pinot and other cooler climate varietals make Westport Winery a must stop."
