As in previous years, the guide is divided into eight wine touring regions: Seattle & Puget Sound, Woodinville, Yakima Valley, Tri-Cities, Walla Walla Valley, Spokane & Pullman, Vancouver & Columbia Gorge, and Cascade Valley & North Central.
Each touring region has an introductory article with information about the area as well as suggestions on when to go, how to get there, places to eat and drink, and things to do. This year there are also several grower profiles and chef profiles along with recipes. A number of the articles in the Tour Guide were written by yours truly with others by Chris Nishiwaki and Adrianne Dow Young.
Look for hard copies of the guide at wineries and retailers throughout the state. Read an electronic version here.
A very nice update, Sean, and really nice that the guide is now on-line too. This will be my fifth WA State Wine Guide, and each year I've used it as a checkoff of where we've visited/tasted, and targeted new wineries and or areas to explore. The 2008 and 2009 have lots more marks than 2010 and 2011, but I'd like to add a few notches in this newest one in the Puget Sound area.
