Thanks to everyone who sent in nominations for the 2009 Reader Survey Wine of the Year and 2010 Wine to Watch. Nominations are now closed. In total, there are 45 nominees for 2009 Wine of the Year, and 15 nominees for 2010 Wine to Watch. See the complete lists below.
With the nominees set, we will now begin Preliminary voting. Use the two surveys on the right-hand side to vote for any three wines in each category - Wine of the Year and Wine to Watch (Note: Names are abbreviated. See full names below). E-mail and comment votes will not be included in this round. Voting on the Finalists will start this weekend based on the results of this preliminary survey (see schedule below).
To reiterate, the 2009 Wine of the Year is intended for the one Washington wine in 2009 that stood out among those you tasted. The 2010 Wine to Watch is for a wine you tasted that will be released in 2010 that you believe will be exceptional. See more about the contest here.

Tuesday 12/8 to Friday 12/11 9pm
Vote for any three wines in both categories.
Finals

Sean,
ReplyDeleteIt's not letting me vote. Not sure if it's my computer being a pain or the site...I'll try again later! Great idea and survey, by the way. 08 Reynvaan "The Contender" is easily my wine to watch. Have you tried their wines yet?
drinknectar, good question on Spokane. Readers?
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying this race. As for Spokane love-Barrister, Robert Karl, Arbor Crest-guess they just don't get the internet there!
ReplyDeleteDon't you worry. I saw some Comcast trucks driving east on 90 earlier today. They should have the whole place wired in time for next year's survey.
