Notes on the 2006 vintage of these wines are below. The winery also makes a port-style wine, a Sangiovese, a Viognier and a Roussanne. For the 2007 vintage releases, Tempranillo will be introduced. The winery produces approximately 1,000 cases per year and is named after Lloyd’s grandfather.

agree on Walter Dacon. My wife and I came upon their winery on a drive a couple weeks ago and walked away really impressed.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance, their winery/tasting room is definitely worth a visit.
Sean, I'm definitely looking forward to stopping by the tasting room. I have seen it several times while heading over to the Olympics to go climbing but have always gotten home a little too late or a little too tired. After tasting these syrah though it definitely merits a special trip.
