Based on reader suggestion, October’s Virtual Tasting wine will be the 2008 Alexandria Nicole Cellars Quarry Butte. The tasting will take place Wednesday October 27rd from 7-8pm Pacific Time. The wine retails for $20 and is reasonably widely available. Hope you will join us!
What you need to do to participate is:
1. Buy this month’s wine from a local retailer or at the winery
2. Post your comments/tweets on the wine on the 27th between 7 and 8pm. For those on Twitter, follow me @wawinereport. I will be using the hashtag #ancwine during the event.

Yeah!!! Finally a wine I already own. We'll probably do an '07 '08 vertical of Quarry Butte. We also recently filled in our library with '04 '05 and '06 QB. We'll save those for a big butte party one of these days.
Yay! We just bought a case of it. Our favorite go-to red. Wonder what kind of constructive commentary I can provide since I already know I love it. Does "yum" work?

We purchased the QB last month while in the tasting room in Prosser. Loved it! And it still in my collection but won't be able to participate. :-( Have fun! You will all love it (if you don't already).
